Tropical Toast opened its doors last year with an island inspired menu in order to bring the tropical, vacation feeling to downtown Charleston. Owner, Sam Mustafa, has many years of experience in the restaurant business. Since 1990 Mustafa has opened a total of 15 restaurants. With a passion for the Caribbean lifestyle, Mustafa wanted to add menu items that incorporate an exclusive part of the world. "Charleston is a great location to tie in a Caribbean twist," said Mustafa. "I am passionate about this transition because I am bringing a part of the Caribbean to an area already known for the unique vacation atmosphere."
