Palmetto Archaeology Lecture Series

Tuesday, Feb 12, 2013 6:00p to 7:00p

In honor of Black History Month, free talks on African American Archaeology are being presented. Nicole Isenbarger will discuss Colonoware, a pottery that is a no longer practiced folk tradition, and how the enslaved used it in their daily lives for cooking, cultural identity, marketing activities and more. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion. The event is hosted by Archaeological Research Collective, Inc.
