Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a box or carrier. South Carolina requires that all dogs and cats have a current rabies vaccination. The licensed veterinarian shall provide a certificate of vaccination to the owner of the pet. A serially numbered metal license tag, which must be attached to a collar or harness worn by the pet, shall also be furnished. Rain date: May 5. If a previous DHEC-sponsored clinic was canceled due to weather, go to the address of the original clinic.
