We Still Live Here, a documentary by award-winning filmmaker Anne Makepeace, tells the story of the once-silenced Wampanoag language. Jessie Little Doe Baird, a passionate, resolute and engaging member of the tribe, journeys to become a MacArthur "genius" award-winner and celebrated linguist for her unprecedented work of bringing her own Wampanoag language home. The screening will take place at the Recital Hall, Simons Center for the Arts, at 8 p.m. March 2.
