This Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Tennessee Williams follows Big Daddy, a wealthy cotton tycoon, and his family as they gather to celebrate his birthday. The play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy's family, primarily between his son Brick and Brick's wife Maggie. Swarming around the couple are their intrusive, conniving relatives, all eager to see Maggie put in her place and Brick tumbled from his pedestal.
