Presented by Charleston Stage. In early 1942, Navy Lt. Jack Kennedy and his current fling, Danish blond bombshell and suspected Nazi spy Inga Arvad, planned a clandestine getaway at the Fort Sumter House Hotel in Charleston. Reporters from Life Magazine were soon on the prowl, and FBI agents were listening next door. Based on true events, comic fireworks explode in this highly imaginative, highly speculative and rollicking world premiere.

We attended the opening of Inga Binga a few nights ago and were delighted with the play itself and also with the performance. There was a little bit of everything; comedy, light history - albeit some fabricated history, drama, sex, intrigue, politics and mystery. The actors were wonderful, their comedic timing was spot on and their accents were next to flawless. Kudos to playwright Julian Wiles and the entire cast of Inga Binga!
