Brazilian brothers Sérgio & Odair Assad have garnered global acclaim since their 1979 win at the Young Artists Competition in Bratislava. Their diverse repertoire & innovative arrangements have mesmerized fans & won critics. The New York Times raves: “A kind of wizardry lies w/ in the playing,” yielding a “supple, flawlessly unified sound.” Sérgio Assad won a Latin Grammy for his composition Tahhiyya li Ossoulina.
