In New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players’ Pirates of Penzance, a soft-hearted pirate, Frederic, falls in love with fair maiden Mabel and promises her father that he will dedicate his life to apprehending all buccaneers. But a technicality extends Frederic’s pirate apprenticeship, sparking chaos and conflicts of love, honor, and duty. This rollicking romp features a full orchestra, chorus, and vocal soloists.
