Jazz icon Dave Brubeck has collected a long list of distinctions in the course of his stellar career, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the Smithsonian Medal, and honors from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The pianist’s Indian Summer was named 2007’s “Album of the Year” by Bloomberg news service. For this performance, the Dave Brubeck Quartet will revisit its classic hits such as In Your Own Sweet Way, The Duke, and Take Five.
