Mountain helped to change the Hard Rock landscape with the hits Mississippi Queen and Yasgur's Farm. Leslie West's guitar mastery and Corky Laing's dynamic drumming defined Mountain's distinctive sound, landing the band on VH1's list of "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock." Edgar Winter Group shot to fame with the Top 15 single Free Ride and the No. One Frankenstein, which revolutionized the Rock sound with its innovative instrumental formula. The ensemble's songs have been featured on the hit movie Tropic Thunder and the Oscar-winning comedy My Cousin Vinny.
