Jug Handle Creek Farm

Four miles north of the historic village of Mendocino. Hostel-style lodging on 35 acres of nature including forests and meadows, nature trails, and a native plant nursery. As a nature center we serve as gateway to the 1000-acre Jug Handle State Reserve and Ecological Staircase Trail. We provide Science and Ecology Program for schools, an after-school nature education program and a summer nature day camp for local kids. Stay with us in our 140-year-old Victorian farmhouse, cabins, or large tent campground. Take a five-minute walk down our trail to the ocean and Jug Handle Beach or spend an afternoon hiking the ecological staircase trail.
