Over 10,000 runners and walkers from all over the United States and many foreign countries are expected to participate in the race weekend festivities.
The courses feature tours through Carlsbad Village, along the oceanfront past beaches and picturesque lagoons. Both races start and finish at Plaza Camino Real. The marathon starts at 6:15 a.m. and the half marathon's wave starts kick off at 7:45 a.m.
Race weekend also includes the Kids Marathon Mile at LEGOLAND on 1/26 and an expo.
