Mr. Toots Coffeehouse

A quaint coffeehouse nestled above the charming village of Capitola overlooking the ocean and pier just south of Santa Cruz California. The warm and friendly atmosphere is very conducive to relaxing with friends, reading your favorite book, viewing the local art on display or listening to the sounds of live local musicians while enjoying your favorite coffee or tea drink.

Focused on serving the highest quality coffee and espresso, Mr. Toots serves only fresh organic, shade grown, Fair Trade coffee made from beans locally roasted. The French roasted coffee beans are a custom blended of Indonesian and Sumatran beans and delivered fresh weekly.

Mr. Toots Coffeehouse is the second oldest coffeehouse in all of Santa Cruz County having been in business over 26 years in the same location. Located upstairs above Margaritaville, Mr. Toots has the old world charm it has been known for over the past two decades.

Mr. Toots Coffeehouse features live music almost every night of the week. The live music is acoustic and performed right in the café. Music ranges from Jazz piano to Classical violin to Blue Grass to Big Jazz. We do not charge a cover charge.
