Southeast Missouri State University presents Black History Month Activities. 6 p.m., Feb. 6, at the UC Indian Room. This presentation by Men Encouraging New Ways and SELF (Sisterhood, Empowerment, Leadership and Femininity) explores the false perceptions, stereotypes and challenges that African-American men and women often encounter as professionals in their chosen fields.
