The Country Cow Restaurant

Owners Jennifer Leonzi and Kerry Benton and involved in the total operation of the restaurant and there is a good chance you might see them there. Jennifer is the Dining Room manager, meeting and greeting the public, and Kerry is the Head Chef, preparing all or most meals. You may ask, "Why the name Country Cow?" Kerry, a local of Thornton, was raised on a dairy farm. Kerry and Jennifer's dream was to turn the family's old barn into a restaurant on the original farm where cows still room free to graze. After many town meetings, petitions, zoning regulations, and rejections all of the ideas and artifacts from "the farm" were brought to 57 Blair Road, Campton. Let's face it, this is the country folks. The Country Cow Restaurant at Blair Bridge has become the new "hot spot" in the White Mountain Region. Overlooking the scenic Blair Covered Bridge and Pemigewasset River. The Country Cow is located just off I-93 at exit 27, in Campton. Voted one of the "Top 50 Restaurants In the State" by NH Magazine, The Country Cow satisfies a variety of palates and is open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The glassed in porch area accommodates parties up to eight people and is most demanded by customers. During summer you may spot a couple ducks wading in the river, or in winter, huge blocks of ice floating down stream of the mountains. For a more private engagement a couple of booths are available in the main dining room which are cozy and comfortable. The main dining room is still amazing from this area which also has a brick fireplace, and leaves not a bad seat in the house. The dinner menu features an assortment of meals including fresh seafood, pork, poultry, veal, pastas, vegetarian, and our specialty, hand cut steaks to order. Some favorites are the Seafood Wellington, NH Maple chicken, Caribbean Pork, Veal Schnitzel, and the thirty ounce Porterhouse Steak.
