Since the time of the Buddha, people have practiced mindfulness meditation. Today, both neuroscience and medical research that have studied the effects of meditation have discovered many benefits of this practice. These include stress reduction and an increase in our capacity for peace and happiness. Ocean of Compassion Buddhist Center will be offering weekly sessions where we will practice meditation.
