Visibile Soul: The Feline as Muse
New exhibit celebrates feline-inspired artwork from the 16th century to the present. The show features established and mid-career artists in drawing, painting, photography and sculpture, while giving a well-deserved nod to the felines of antiquity and early cinema. Hand-colored lithographs from Andy Warhol, works by Louise Bourgeois, Leonard Baskin, Carolee Schneemann and a rare glimpse at drawings and ceramic pieces by prolific 19th-century artist Louis Wain.
