Close Cousins: Family program with Zarin Machanda

Sunday, May 5, 2013 2:00p to 3:00p

Discover our closest living relative, the chimpanzee, with primatologist Zarin Machanda, who studies great apes in Africa. In this hands-on and interactive presentation, we’ll handle chimpanzee “toys” and “tools”, look at real chimp skulls and teeth, watch short videos of chimps in the wild, and learn how similar chimps and humans really are.

Paid parking available at the nearby 52 Oxford Street garage (see website for details). 7 minute walk from Harvard Square Red Line T stop.
