Learn the fundamentals of sculpting the figure. Explore issues of composition, volume, line, and texture in the three dimensions. Using clay as the medium, we will work from the model in various poses, both reclining and seated. Each session will be devoted to a different assignment, including creating a bas-relief, working subtractively, and working in the abstract. All levels are welcome.
