Comics and Sequential Art
A ten-week, process-oriented approach to comics, cartoons, graphic novels, and sequential art. We will rehearse the crucial components of comic creation, from experimenting with materials to storytelling and complex layouts. Students will not only create their own finished works, but also begin to develop a unique style. Classes also cover influences, brainstorming, character design, scripts, editing, thumbnailing, and collaborative work.
