Cambridge Martin Luther King Day Commemoration

Monday, Jan 21, 2013 12:00p to 2:00p

The City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Peace Commission will remember and celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Central Square, Cambridge.

There will be brief readings of Dr. King’s words calling for peace, justice and transformation – as well as music by vocalist Véronique Epiter, and remarks from Maria Elena Letona, a long-time community activist and organizer and the former executive director of Centro Presente.
