Impressions of the Voyageur

Photographer Lucy Cobos spent 2 years photographing the hulls of boats in Massachusetts. The result is a study in abstract, documenting the distinctive imprints from the journeys of these hulls, just the way they appear — unaltered by the artist. Each photograph was printed on acid free 100% rag paper and left untitled, with the objective to give the viewer a sense of place and invite one’s own interpretation of the images.
