The highly-acclaimed chamber orchestra Discovery Ensemble, conducted by Courtney Lewis, will present a Sunday afternoon concert featuring Bartók's Divertimento for Strings, Salonen's Five Images After Sappho and Beethoven's Symphony No. 2. The program will take place at Sanders Theatre in Cambridge. A Musical Conversation hosted by Classical New England's James David Jacobs with conductor Courtney Lewis will take place prior to the concert, beginning at 2:00 P.M.
