The soon-to-be-wed Alexis and Aline believe that true happiness comes only of true love. But when the entirety of Ploverleigh finishes a suspiciously stiff jorum of tea (a love potion brewed by John Wellington Wells, an established family sorcerer) the citizens remark that the young maidens of the village are very comely. So likewise are the middle-aged. Also the elderly. Will these unexpected couples float away on a lake of liquid love, or will there be a price to pay? Hilarity ensues.
