'Blade Runner' Screening

If Will Smith's "Hancock" isn't doing it for you as a July 4th summer blockbuster, you may be better off spending this holiday-weekend Saturday at the Brattle Theatre.

The theater has brought back "Blade Runner: Final Cut" for another run. The 1982 film by Ridley Scott, which was re-released last year, shouldn't disappoint, with Harrison Ford as Deckard, a detective who must save the world from powerful androids. It's actually a bit like Smith's 2004 summer blockbuster "I, Robot" -- but much, much smarter.
