Part of the United Artists 90th Anniversary repertory series! Arguably Woody Allen's best film to date, ANNIE HALL tells the story of Alvy Singer (Allen), a neurotic Jewish comedian (sound familiar?) who relates the story of his relationship with the clumsy, tie-loving Annie Hall (Keaton). Allen is at his awkward best, often breaking the fourth wall to give the audience an insight into his mindset, and Keaton is endearingly ditsy without ever coming across as dumb. The two dance their way through the film via Allen's recollections, funny at times, heartbreaking at others, but always, always awkward.
