Since November 2001, Grazie Pizzeria Winebar has been serving up a slice of life. Sure, Grazie has all of the key elements for super success - consistency, genuine hospitality, superior food, distinctive wines, and a vibrant ambiance. But what completes the synergy and keeps Grazie's “vibe” alive is its many happy guests ... who are much loved and appreciated.
"Grazie" to all of you!
While other pizzerias claim to be authentic Italian (Brooklyn is not a region in Italy!), Grazie is the real thing. Owner, Maurizio Cristiani, purebred Tuscan, infuses his culture into all of Grazie's menu offerings with exclusive use of Italian imported wines, and mostly imported Italian foods and ingredients.
Maurizio, from Tuscany and his wife, Sandi from California make an excellent team, bringing just the right flavors to the table (pun intended.) A very traditional Italian Pizzeria menu is presented in Sandi's styled decor of classic Italy meets American whimsy. The eclectic design includes large contemporary abstract paintings created by Sandi. The music library, also arranged by her, consists of tracks one might hear in a swanky, big city lounge. Click here to view photos of Maurizio and Sandi.
Over 100 imported Italian wine choices, covering every region in Italy, accompany Grazie's classic appetizer, salad, pizza and dessert concoctions. Please see our menu and winelist. Tourists enjoy a one of a kind experience, while loyal locals return often to feed their addiction.
"Grazie" is Italian for "thanks". The proper pronunciation of grazie is "graht-see-ay," consisting of three syllables. In most Italian words, every letter is pronounced. The letter "e" is always pronounced "ay." Of course, you can find out all about this at our Italian classes.
Grazie has two locations, one in Old Town Scottsdale and one in Verrado, a fabulous master-planned DMB community situated in the foothills of the White Tank Mountains.

The wine tastings and Italian style make this one of the nicest restaurants west of Phoenix. Situated on Main St. in Verrado (a master planned community with everything from custom homes to street lights designed for character) Grazie has great outdoor seating with a view of the town's park in the city square. Wine list is exceptional but the food leaves me wanting more variety (which is hardly a criticism, just a desire for more)
