Relia's Garden

Nantahala Outdoor Center was founded in 1972 by three friends from Atlanta-Payson and Aurelia Kennedy and Horace Holden. NOC is proud to celebrate more than 30 years, and we're glad Relia's Garden is part of that. Since its construction in 1988, Relia's Garden has been a popular gathering place for NOC staff, visitors, and outdoor program guests. This "restaurant on the hill" was named for Aurelia Kennedy, creator of NOC's original restaurant and its bountiful organic garden. Set amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Nantahala National Forest, Relia's Garden continues to bring folks together with innovative and healthful cuisine, friendly staff, and a love of good times in good company.
