Walt Whitman Theater at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts

The Walt Whitman Theatre is the flagship theatre of Brooklyn Center's Performing Arts Complex. Bragging a seating capacity of over 2300, one of the largest in Brooklyn, this magnificent faux art deco theatre boasts a seating capacity of over 2350 seats and has recently been beautifully renovated and restored to its original design, but with warm wood enhancements that add natural beauty as well as better acoustics. Unseen upgrades in state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems making it the theatre a première venue for the many roadshow events presented by the Center as well a very cost-effective rental theatre space for local groups, organizations and presenters.

For decades the Center has made its professional and highly talented technical staff and theatre spaces a welcome home for the Brooklyn community and at very reasonable, competitive rental rates.
