Join Brutal Magazine on October 28th, 2014 for a special night! Parlor Coffee will open their roastery doors for a fall dinner with Chris Fischer, pastry chef Olivia Pattison, and Beetlebung Farm, where Brutal Magazine will transform Parlor's stunning and airy roastery into an experiential space.
Beetlebung Farm will let their produce shine in a three course vegetable-based menu, wine will be provided by 56 Degrees Brooklyn, and a portion of the proceeds will go toward Edible Schoolyard NYC.
About Chris Fischer Beetlebung FARM
Chris Fischer grew up on Martha's Vineyard, and his family has lived on the island since 1670. Fischer worked his way up in the kitchen at Mario Batali's Babbo, before returning to the island to run his family's 5-acre vegetable farm, Beetlebung Farm. In 2013, Fischer took over the kitchen at the Beach Plum Restaurant in Menemsha, Ma; the restaurant uses a large percentage of produce from nearby Beetlebung Farm. His forthcoming cookbook, The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook, will be published by Little, Brown.

ABOUT Parlor COFFEE
Parlor Coffee is a locally owned and operated micro roaster in the Brooklyn Navy Yards. They tirelessly pore over green coffee samples, seeking the cleanest and sweetest coffees they can find from across the tropical belt of the Americas and East Africa. Every batch of coffee they produce is roasted with care and with the intention of maximizing sweetness and complexity in the cup.
