American Classical Orchestra - Reformation

Tuesday, Jun 4, 2013 8:00p

Two Metropolitan Opera stars will grace the stage to conclude the ACO's season. Layla Claire, one of the most sought after young singers in today’s opera world, will give her Alice Tully Hall debut. The elegant voice of Canadian tenor Benjamin Butterfield takes center stage in Mozart’s commanding aria ‘Misero…O sogno.' Also included is Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony. Mendelssohn’s scoring of the hymn ‘Ein feste Burg’ is thrilling, edge-of-your-seat music.
