The Prospect Park Bandshell is not only the Park’s main attraction for live outdoor entertainment, but one of New York City’s most exciting venues. The Bandshell is best known for hosting the Celebrate Brooklyn Performing Arts Festival, a series of performances held each summer from June through August, showcasing an extraordinary diversity of legendary, current, and up-and-coming artists. The festival attracts nearly a quarter million concert-goers per season.
