The 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Kettle Run is at 8 a.m. August 25 at Bristoe Station Battlefield Park, 10708 Bristow Road, Bristow. Come commemorate the August 1862 Battle of Kettle Run, which set the stage for the Battle of Second Manassas. Living history and special tours take place during the day. In the evening, enjoy a somber and beautiful luminary of the battlefield with 1,000 candles to honor the men who fought and died there.
