Some forgetfulness is considered a normal part of aging. It’s common to briefly forget a neighbor’s name or where you put your car keys. How can you distinguish between age-related forgetfulness and the signs of something more serious, like the memory loss and confusion associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia? Dr. Aimee Pierce, a UC Irvine neurologist, will discuss memory loss in relations to aging and provide tips on keeping your brain fit and your memory sharp.
