Jesus on Death Row: A Modern Interpretation of the Trial of Jesus

Tuesday, Mar 26, 2013 7:00p to 8:30p

The trial of Jesus is set in a present day mock courtroom, conducted by legal scholars. Witnesses are questioned & the audience serves as the Jury, deliberating to reach a verdict based on the evidence presented. Mark Osler teaches at the U of St. Thomas Law School in Minneapolis & is the author of Jesus on Death Row. Jeanne Bishop is a Public Defender, law prof., & sister of Nancy Bishop Langert, who was murdered in 1990. The trial is a thought-provoking exploration of the death penalty.
