“AKA Doc Pomus”

Saturday, Mar 16, 2013 8:30p
Boedecker Theater Boulder, CO

Doc Pomus was an unlikely rock & roll icon and a great untold story. He was the only heavy-set, white, Jewish teenager on crutches to headline blues clubs in Greenwich Village and later the first white person inducted to the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame. He found his calling as a songwriter, creating some of the greatest hits of the early rock and roll era. Packed with incomparable music and rare archival imagery this tribute also features a great cast.
