Hailing from Tucson, AZ, Copper & Congress is a dynamic three-piece ensemble bridging gaps between the genres of folk, jazz, blues, rock, and lounge. Their 2012 debut album The Leap Year features Joey Burns & Jacob Valenzuela from Calexico, and renowned producer Craig Schumacher. C&C unifies three musicians from widely disparate backgrounds to create passionate, beautiful, honest music. The band is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Feist, Portishead, and Beth Orton.
