Violence in Scripture: How Could God Be So Mean?

Join Boulder Rabbi Marc Soloway of Congregation Bonai Shalom and Fr Ted Howard in an exploration of violence in both Hebrew and Christian holy scriptures, and how people of faith reconcile passages of divine violence with the notion of a loving and compassionate God. 6-630pm Sung Evensong in the chapel; 630-7pm potluck dinner; 7-8pm presentation; 8-830pm Q&A; Childcare provided. All are welcome. This is the 2nd of 6 Wednesday evening gatherings in St John's Lenten series.
