Boulder County Parks and Open Space has worked at Heil Valley Ranch over the last few years thinning forests to decrease wildfire danger while restoring forest ecosystems. Volunteers will spread locally collected native seed to re-vegetate disturbed areas such as roadsides and slash pile burn scars. This project runs from 9:00am-1:00pm. Minimum age is 12 with adult supervision. For more information call Shane Milne at 303-678-6089.
