How to Survive a Plague Movie and Panel

Wednesday, Feb 6, 2013 7:00p
Boedecker Theater Boulder, CO

Join BCAP's Advocacy Committee for a viewing of this Oscar nominated film about the early years of the AIDS epidemic and the efforts of ACT UP. It is a powerful portrayal of the political indifference and staggering resilience of HIV+ activists.

There will be a panel of local advocates following the film, including Mitch Stahl, Barb Cardell and Arthur Powers. They will discuss HIV activism in Colorado during the late 80s and 90s and what is need now to end the epidemic.
