This show intermingles slides from two trips. One was part of a course on Buddhist art and, and the second was recommended by a Japanese student. On the first, our companions were mostly graduate students in art history, and on they second they were mainly Nisei Japanese. Destinations included Tokyo, Nikko, Nara, Tokayama, Kyoto, Matsumoto Castle, Tsumago and Ogimanchi, the Eiheiji, Buddhist temple, and various islands in the Inland Sea.
