A tale of growing up through hardships and the importance of family, the story of Little Women has become absorbed into the canon of American literary classics. With an original libretto, this opera eloquently captures the soul of the original novel with supple group harmonies and soaring arias. Esteemed director Rhoda Levine brings her international reputation to CU as a guest artist, having directed Little Women before with the New York City Opera in 2003.
