The Tesla Quartet, special guest on the Takács Series, was formed at The Juilliard School in 2008 and quickly established itself as one of the most promising young ensembles in New York. The quartet (violinists Ross Snyder and Michelle Lie, violist Megan Mason, and cellist Kimberly Patterson) recently held a fellowship as the Graduate String Quartet-in-Residence at CU-Boulder, where they studied with the Takács Quartet.
