Formed in California in 1995 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, EELS, an alternative rock band, has encompassed a wide range of genres. In celebration of the release of its new album, The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett, EELS comes to Boston as part of a North American tour. The album is described as "...an extraordinarily vivid and intimate document of a personal struggle." Chelsea Wolfe kicks off the night.
