Wearable art has been around since before there was fire. Explore the MFA’s various collections of jewelry and work on ideas. Copper and brass are utilized while learning various methods of sawing, filing, riveting, soldering and polishing. Students also carve wax, invest their piece and cast it in bronze. Silver is available for purchase as well.
