Anka Muhlstein talks about her book "Monsieur Proust's Library," which explores the theme of reading in Marcel Proust's epic "A la recherche du temps perdu," one of the greatest novels of the twentieth century. It has been said that Proust sometimes unable to create a character without explaining what he or she is reading. As Muhlstein explains, Proust made literary taste a means of defining personalities and gave literature a starring role in his books.
