July Centennial Connections: Exploration
In the 1930s BCM’s outdoor clubs gave children direct experiences with nature, placing them at the center of their own learning adventures. In the 1950s the July Jaunters program took neighborhood children on nature expeditions. In the 1990s the Waterfront Learning project featured the Museum’s prime location along Fort Point Channel. Throughout July we will play, learn and explore the outdoors.
