Award-winning documentary filmmaker Larry Hott will discuss the challenges and surprises he has encountered while filming Frederick Law Olmsted: Designing America, a documentary about the life and designs of America's first landscape architect to air on PBS in winter 2013-2014. Hott's lecture will include takes from the Olmsted and previous films. Hott's presentation is part of the month-long West Roxbury Reads series sponsored by the Friends of the West Roxbury Branch Library.
