Extremities

Extremities is a play by William Mastrosimone first performed in 1982. A play unlike any other, Extremities deals with the sensitive nature of rape and sexual assault and the legitimacy of the justice system.
The play is about a young woman, Marjorie, who is assaulted in her home by a would-be rapist, Raul. After enduring a vicious sequence of abuse, she manages to turn the tables on him and begins to torture him. Her roommates, Terry and Patricia, then return home.
