Eight-week Session: Monday, Jan 7 to Mar 11 (No class Jan 21 and Feb 18) Course description: Learn multiple forms of welding including Oxy-Acetylene, Stick, MIG, and TIG, and explore cutting techniques such as flame, plasma, and others to create unique works of art in steel. Course include Stick, MIG, and TIG welding; bronze casting; mold making; ceramic sculpture; live figure modeling; and jewelry making. All courses and workshops include a tour of the Museum's collections of sculpture and metals. Easily accessible by the Orange line, there is also on-street parking available. No experience necessary (except as noted); all course and workshop sizes are limited to provide a safe working environment. All tools and materials are provided.
